am new to this DNN custom code development. so i follewed this LINK.
and i wrote this code in my page link. problem is userinfo object is not getting refreshed. Also showing previous logged in user related data. even breakpoint is working for first time login. i f i do refresh page for 10-20 times. then the correct values are getting displayed. please some one help me.. i need to implement a functionality based on a logged in user role.just like to show/hide some gridviews.

Here is the code...
DotNetNuke.Entities.Users.UserInfo mUser = DotNetNuke.Entities.Users.UserController.GetCurrentUserInfo();
                if (mUser.IsInRole("Managers"))
                {
                    Label1.Text = mUser.Username;
                }
                if (mUser.IsInRole("Finance"))
                {
                    Label1.Text = mUser.Username;
                }
                //mUser = null;
                //Response.Cookies["portalroles"].Value = null;
                //Response.Cookies["portalroles"].Path = "/";
                //Response.Cookies["portalroles"].Expires = DateTime.Now.AddYears(-30);

am using DotNetNuke_Community_05.04.04_StarterKit.vsi
and DNN version is 05.02.01 (54)

Regards,
pavan

that should work ok i.e. calling GetCurrentUserInfo and then checking isinrole. Are you changing roles earlier in the code? If so you need to set the refreshroles property of userinfo before calling the updateuser method
