Hi there, is it possible to add my own SettingName and SettingValue to PortalSettings programmatically?

Dim mySetting as New PortalSettings()
mySetting.AddPortalSetting (???)

Could anyone please show me an example if it's possible?

Thanks!

I think it is more easyer, to add it with the manifest file. Please check the Wiki on this Portal for details.

 Thanks Matthias,

Would you be kind to direct me to where I can find this topic in the wiki? I've done a search for PortalSettings with no results there.

Thanks again!

It should be in the Manifest section http://www.dotnetnuke.com/Resources/Wiki/Page/Manifests.aspx#dnnG_Extension_Manifest_File_0 but I am not sure if it is complete documentet, and I am not sure if it is right with the setting.

Hi Matthias, thank you for trying to help. Unfortunately without an actual documented example, it's like shooting in the dark. :-(
