Hi Johan,

There might be another alternative....

Have a look at NBStore. The module has all that you are looking for, out-of-the-box you have PayPal (with credit card payment) but it is a gateway which plugs into the NBStore module. IDEAL is also supported using the 40 Fingers IDEAL gateway using Mollie. We have a deal with Mollie for a lower transaction cost, if your interested let me know and we can set you up.

NBStore has digital document download functionality which we use for 1 of our clients selling ebooks. The way the download system works is as follows:

  • The buyer chooses the art they wish to buy
  • adds the art to the basket
  • pays for the art using PayPal or IDEAL
  • An email is sent to the buyer with a link
  • The buyer clicks the link and gets sent to the product they have purchased, when the buyer is logged in a link to the digit document they have purchased is available for the buyer to download the product.

The best thing about this modules is... wait for it..... its free!

Hope this helps you out,

Regards,

Geoff.

Dear Geoff,

Indeed very nice!

Does not work though with the TIDY responsive design skin: http://tidy.skinsbyadammer.com/

http://customers.satoconor.com/tientest/store

in mobile phone emulator: http://www.webdesignerdepot.com/2012/11/6-free-mobile-device-emulators-for-testing-your-site/

Can this (TIDY) be modified and adapted so it will work, or is the NBStore it self not responsive?

Hi Johan,

The templates are all customizable in NBStore apart from the checkout.

So you should be able to adapt the templates and the Tidy Skin to us NBStore easily.

I would suggest you to have a look through the discussion section of NBStore on Codeplex and you can see how to make the productlist etc, responsive.

The only problem you have is the checkout, its fixed with therefore you have a problem, but if you are comfortable with coding should be able to change this, just download the code and have a look at the checkout module.

Regards,

Geoff.

Dear Geoff,

I would not mind if there was a horizontal scroll bar in the checkout page on a mobile phone.

But that is not even there! Otherwise it would still be functional and now its not (to be clear with the TIDY Skin).

You should be able to fix this very fast?

Moreover store page is also not functional, buy button is outside screen on mobile phone.

These features should already be there out-of-the-box otherwise you cannot market it!

Should be mobile phone and tablet landscape en portrait OK!
