Hello,

I'm developing a custom module for DNN where I want to use HTML editor. Actually, the module should create a form with one or more Rich Text Fields. How can I do the following

  • Add HTML editor control to a page using ASP.NET code on server.
  • Add Html editor control to a page using AJAX.

TIA,
Anton Burtsev.

Using Html editor in your module control is simple. just register the tag prefix :

<%@ Register TagPrefix="dnn" TagName="TextEditor" Src="~/controls/TextEditor.ascx"%>

and add the tag where you want to display the editor:

You can see the text/html module to get reference, you can find it under /DesktopModules/HTML/EditHtml.ascx

Please tell us more about what you mean by Ajax, i.e. how you want to use ajax in it? (dnn 5.x supports ajax by default by just checking a box)
