I am working on my first 'real' module.  It is a very basic one, from there I will expand as I learn and understand things better.  I've been through Mitchell Sellers book and found it quite helpful.

What' I'm building is something similar to the Links module, basic stuff.   My form does display data (manually entered into SQL), but the Add link does not display.   The pencil icon appears properly, the Action menu appears properly, the Settings icon appears at the bottom,  but there is no "Add link" object next to it.

What do I need to do to get one?   Is it something in the Manfiest?   in the markup of the view page?

TIA,
Lou

If you're using the IActionable Interface you can add an action for "Add" or Edit, there are ModuleActionTypes you would likely want to use the AddContent type to get it to show up in the ActionButtons below a container (assuming the container uses them). Any type should be added to the actions menu itself

That was it!

I think I accidently removed this code when I started working on this page (rookie mistake).  Then I got called away on another project for a few days and set this one aside and forgot where I was and what I was doing.   After I read your post this morning I created a dummy project to see if I was missing code, and there it was.  Not only that, but now I understand what that code actually does. :).

Thanks for the assist!
Lou
