Where can we find actual developer  documentation for usage  of JWT with DNN? Especially how to generate JWT tokens if you use some kind of custom  authentication and not basic username and password.  I recall having seen some kind of sample application of using JWT with a sample client application (app) but cant seem to find it now.

The main problem we are having is that we are not using username and password for authentication but instead our own authentication (based on electronic certificates). Unfortunately the JWT implementation in DNN seems to be just built to handle usernamn and password and from what we have seen, it seems to be very hard to extend as the entire class is marked as "internal" so it can't even be instantiated outside of the MobileController class. Any ideas of how to solve this without having to write our own JWT implementation all together?
