I am using a razor template to retrieve rows from a table that was written using OWS (Open Web studio - Listx)..  One of the fields consists of HTML that was encoded (i.e paragraph tags become "<p>" )  I need to decode these fields back to the original HTML. but do not know how to do it.  .  I have tried using @html.raw(@MyHtml) in the template, but it just generates errors.  It's probably a pretty simple thing, but....

Can anyone help?

Sometimes I get to reply to my own post.
As it happens @Html.Raw(@MyHtml) does decode the text, but displays the markup instead of rendering it (I can see the "<p>"

 tags) - I forgot about case sensitivity in C#.

NOW - how to get the HTML rendered, instead of displayed?

this sounds like a dev question
(You should have a look at HTMLencode method)

I solved it.  Posting my solution in case someone else had the same question and I can save them a day of research and experimenting. It basicly has to be double decoded.

@Html.Raw(HttpUtility.HtmlDecode(@row.q1))
