Hi

I created a simple web service (.asmx) file so that I can send data with jquery to the database. I have a dnn 5.7 site that this is installed in and it works fine.

However, when I installed it on a dnn6 site I get an authentication dialog every time the service is called.

Does anyone know if there's something different about dnn6 that would cause this?  And how do I get around it?

thanks

Gus

It's most likely a windows permissions issue. Check the permissions for your asmx file on the new 6.x site.
