raising compatibility level might not speed up database but allows the server to take advantage of new features and you might be able to upgrade to latest version of DNN, which is not supporting SQL 2000 any longer.

Had to unistall instance of DNN and reintall 7xx in order to get set up on SQL 2008r2 server (GoDaddy Hosting). I backed up the database, then proceeded with uninstall/re-install. Completed initial setup, restored DB but the Host User (SuperUser) account username and password do not work and site wants to upgrade DB from 6.2.05 to 7.00.06. I cant because the user/pass are now invalid. How do I fix this issue?
