I had a package which EVS certified as Azure ready, but when installing on Azure, I received errors about tables not having a clustered index.

This came from scripts generated out of SQL Management Studio (probably 2005), where it generated a table with a tmp_ms_xx_ prefix, and then renamed it to the real table, after migrating data and deleting the old table.

Hey Brian,

The clustered index problem is a known issue. EVS uses the SQLAzure Migration Wizard to identify compatibility issues and currently an issue with the Migration Wizard doesn't return an error for a missing clustered index. We're working with that project lead to resolve the issue. I'll post a follow up when it's fixed.

Thanks for the feedback.

Hey Brian,

EVS has been update and will now flag missing clustered indexes amongst many other potential issues. See here for more info about this update: http://www.dotnetnuke.com/Resources/B...

Please let me know if you have any other questions.

Cheers,

Nathan Rover
