How would I remove the "Q." and "A." from the results.

I would like to use this module for more than FAQ. For example, I have a list of staff members and with each a few paragraphs about them selves.  I would like to place this module on the page show all the names and allow my user to click the name of interest.

This way I can reduce clutter and give my user easy viewing.

Thanks

You would need to have a custom module created.

This module would not take much time and I think I can do it for you for free. I would need to know what version of DNN it would be for.

Go to www.5150creations.com and click on Contact if you would like me to see what I can do to help you out.

Bob Dotnetnuke is Open Source which means that you can modify the core framework to your specific needs.

It should only take a couple of minutes to modify this FAQ mod for your needs and the cool thing about it is that you can do it yourself!

Just follow this path in your file manager:

domainname.com\wwwroot\DesktopModules\FAQs\App_LocalResources\FAQs.ascx.resx

Open this file in notepad and go down to the last tag just before </root> it should look like this:

<data name="A.Text">
        <value>A.</value>   <--- change to your desired answer
    </data>
    <data name="Q.Text">
        <value>Q.</value>   <----change to your desired question
    </data>

I believe the latest version allows you to modify the template, does it not?

Mark is on the right way, but instead of editing the resource files directly, use the language editor from the admin menu and locate the resource file in the tree on the left. this allows you to create a portal specific version, that doesnot get overwritten during updates.
