Hello I have a small issue with the feedback module, i tried to look everywhere on this forum and could not find anyone with a similar problem.

Here goes, i have created 3 different subjects (membership, scholarship and conference) in the feedback list page, i also created one category (contact).  What i did then is created 3 different contact pages, and tried to preselect for each page one of the subjects. Now if i chose to hide the subject I get the following error when submitting the form (An error has occurred. Error: Feedback is currently unavailable.). If i decide to show the list of subjects it shows it but does not preselect the one I chose in the settings, it automatically selects the first item in the list (membership). Obviously the user can change subject in that list and the form submits fine. This is a problem though as the user should not have to chose the subject?

Can you please let me know if i'm doing anything wrong? It has to be something very simple as I seem to be the only person having this

I am sending a copy of the settings of one of the form for your information.

Can you tell me what your end goal is? Are you trying to make sure that each instance of the feedback submitted (from each of the different pages) comes in with a different category/subject?

Hi Sanjay, yes this is what I am trying to achieve, take the person to 3 different pages, each of them with a different preselected subject. Is that possible?

Thanks, Thomas

so have you tried setting the category to a specific value but hiding the category from the user? This in essence should accomplish what you're trying to do. There isn't any logic in the 4.4.3 version of the module to pre-select a specific category from the dropdown list but i believe if you set it at the settings level, it will send it with that value if it's not visible...

On a different note, what error are you getting? If you go to the Event Viewer, you should see the error details - could you please cut and paste so that I can see if this is something new or something in the configuration.

Thanks
