I'm hosted with WebHost4Life in a shared environment using SQL 2000.  I just did a fresh install of DNN 4.3.1 and it went without a hitch.  I added the UsersOnline module and got the following.  By the error it looks like there's another Database.mdf somewhere in the shared environment.  The "c:\hosting\webhost4life\member\lcoa" is off the server.

ERROR:

Error: UsersOnline is currently unavailable.
DotNetNuke.Services.Exceptions.ModuleLoadException: An attempt to attach an auto-named database for file c:\hosting\webhost4life\member\lcoa\App_Data\Database.mdf failed. A database with the same name exists, or specified file cannot be opened, or it is located on UNC share. ---> System.Data.SqlClient.SqlException: An attempt to attach an auto-named database for file c:\hosting\webhost4life\member\lcoa\App_Data\Database.mdf failed. I'm a DNN newbie so there might be an easy answer to this but I did not see any settings to change the database the module is looking for.

I'm having the exact same issue with the IFrame module.

Also - now - and even more importantly - the host and admin accounts are locked out of the DB.  I can access the db through SQL Query Analyser and the site does load and run, but I can't log in.  Any ideas here?

Thanks,

Rick

Hi

Have U checked that u have set user credentials right in web.config, both in

connectionStrings

add name="SiteSqlServer" connectionString="Server=(local);Database=YourDatabase;uid=YourUser;pwd=YourPassword;" providerName="System.Data.SqlClient"

and in appSettings

add key="SiteSqlServer" value="Server=(local);Database=YourDatabase;uid=YourUser;pwd=YourPassword;"
