After fresh installation of DNN 5 I try to use a Media module and get this error:

Error: Media is currently unavailable.
DotNetNuke.Services.Exceptions.ModuleLoadException: Value cannot be null. Parameter name: connectionString ---> System.ArgumentNullException: Value cannot be null. Parameter name: connectionString at Microsoft.ApplicationBlocks.Data.SqlHelper.ExecuteReader(String connectionString, String spName, Object[] parameterValues) at DotNetNuke.Modules.Media.SqlDataProvider.GetMedia(Int32 moduleId) at DotNetNuke.Modules.Media.MediaController.GetMedia(Int32 moduleID) at DotNetNuke.Modules.Media.MediaModule.Page_Load(Object sender, EventArgs e) --- End of inner exception stack trace ---

I also reinstalled the media module after manually download. but same result./

Anyone seen this and know how to fix it?

Thanks, Ruud

Can you confirm the version of the Media Module you used?  More importantly, what kind of media did you try to display?

Hi,

I just installed again a new installation. New DB new files. Create the website and login. All looks fine.

but when I install the Media Module 3.2.3 (which comes with the installation) and add it to the page I get the exact same error.

There is no content yet. I just add it to the page.

Thanks, Ruud
