I have noted when changing the module cachetime to greater than 0 (for exam[ple to 30 seconds) that the Page_Load method is no longer driven for a time period far exceeding 30 seconds.   Has anyone seen this behavior ?

That curious behavior has been around since, well, I think since v3.0 and maybe in v2.x.  I'll have to check my v2.1.2 site to be sure.  Why? I never did find out, and just learned to live with it.  If anyone does know please share the info.

One of the issues we targeted in the projects' future development was better use of caching, including respecting the <ttl> tag if it existed.  Some web sites perform a lock-out if you request a feed too often.  A request is made every time you hit the page that an RSS feed is on, so that's not a good thing.  Changing the cache time helps, but is not very good at updating at regular intervals either.
