Dear Friends,

I m using news module,login module,survey module in my home page. When i entered wrong user name password and press login in module it shows error but the same time RSS News module also getting blank. I m using container for new module. so after login failed this RSS container is displaying but there is no contents. Once I refresh the screen then my problem solved. everything is coming perfectly. Samething happening when i click vote in survey module. When i select some survey option and click vote survey is registered working fine. But RSS going blank. When i refresh then RSS is coming fine. I given rights to news module to display for all users. It seems to be after postback RSS is not working.I do not know how to Solve? pls help me. Thanks in advance.

If you are using the latest module, there is an option in the Settings are to disable Ajax.  If you uncheck the 'Use Ajax' checkbox, the feed does not attempt to refresh when you hit the page.  I find this helps, as your feed will cache and display on subsequent visits without trying to retrieve the feed when you hit the page.  Although, there is still a bit of a problem with using more than 1 feed on a page.  I've had to refresh the screen for each instance.

I'm not sure if this relates to your issue, as you would see the 'refreshing' gif image displaying.  However, it really depends on how your page is setup and the modules you are using.  I find with the new module, I can't really use it on the home page because of that kind of issue.  I use the XML/XSL module, but even that modue with attempt to get the latest news from the source URL, so there's always a bit of a lag, though it seems to work better for me.

Thanks for your valuable reply. But it dosen't slove my issue. I installed 4.0.0.1 version RSS news and tried. Still  same problem. Now when i click the vote in survey or sign in login news goes off. after refresh also not coming back. i need to close the window and re open then only news displaying. Previously when i refresh then news starts display. So still i m in same problem. any other way to do this ? pls let me know

 Hi.. 

I'm having this exact same issue.. whenever any postback happens in the page.. the RSS News feed module stopped working.. but when we reload the page, it displays the news feeds again.. Did anyone find a solution yet?
