Hi John, hoping i am wrong on this, but the survey module is just not usable. There is no cookie control so once we answer a survey, that is it, no more options. I just tested this by removing an answered survey, seeing the results (only after editing the max width to 75 for example), then deleting the survey, adding a new one, firing it up, and boom, no ability to answer the survey. Another similar test with adding a second survey to an already answered survey yielded the same results. I simply cannot ask users to clear cookies for this. Thoughts, cheers, drew..

If you go into module settings at the bottom of the page there are settings for how the Survey records results.

One of them is if you want to avoid duplicates by using a cookie.

I have to admit, I have not used this Survey module a lot.  Is this different behavior in this new version of DNN?

Hi John, i have stayed away from the module myself until recently, now i have sold the concept to a few clients so they expect it, and soon. I thought since it was around for so long that it was mature and working, but apparently not. The basic issue seems that the cookie is not being either reset or renamed for a new survey, or for multiple surveys. A cookie-guru like yourself can likely tweak that in less time than it takes for a coffee to go cool Ü. This is likely the same issue as you and i chatted about with the usage of multiple dnn portals hosted on localhost whereby each portals cookie was not unique to the portal but to the codebase itself.... Thanks kindly, drew..

I just went and tested the survey on a dnn3.1.0 install and found the exact behaviour as described above. Just thought to note this.. cheers, drew..

I am using Surveys on DNN 3.1.1 and I don't have the above problem.  I have responded to a survey which is configured to track responses via cookie.  If I drop a new survey module on a different page I can respond to it just fine.  I have not tried multiple surveys in the same module on the same page.
