As I was experimenting with the various templates available in the Repository, the download link was no longer available in the default template.  I've set the repository to allow registered users and Administrators to download images but the link has vanished.  Now it doesn't appear in any of the templates regardless of download permissions.

Any suggestions are greatly appreciated.

When you say you were experimenting with the templates what do you mean? Were you changing the actual HTML of the templates or just switching between the different templates. Also, when you say that you set the repository to allow Registered Users and Admins to download images have you actually uploaded the images through the File upload or just through the Image upload section?

Sorry, should have been more specific.  It was at the end of a long day.

I had already uploaded a couple of photos through the image upload section in the repository module.  I was only switching between the templates in the module settings and not doing anything with the HTML.

Briefly, everything was fine with the default template.  I thought the portfolio template might be better suited for what I needed.  I switched templates and clicked update.  There was no download link.  After checking the download roles (Administrators and Registered Users were stil selected), I updated the page once again.  No download link.  I figured this template didn't allow downloading so I switched back to the default template but now there was no download link there, either.  In fact, it didn't show up in any of the templates after that regardless of the download roles.

I ended up deleting the repository module from the page and restarting the application under Host Settings.  This seems to have cleared things up.  Since then I've been able to preview the diffrent repository templates (with content) without the download link 'permanently' disappearing from the ones that are actually configured with it.

When in doubt - delete! I was going to suggest that but thought it sounded a bit defeatist!
