Hi,

Just found this module - fantastic, BUT can't add my name into the name box when uploading a file. This is a mandatory field so I can't upload anything. Help...

I tried it on the sandbox on this site (thanks for that) and it works just fine so it must be my installation (or the way it is trying to pick up my user info automatically?).

I am on DNN 4.3.5 (old I know) and module version 3.3.10 (also has 3.1.15 in green next to it).

My question is - does anyone know a fix, if I need to upgrade can I upgrade the module rather than the whole DNN, or is it something completely different???

Regards

Sam

the author name box is protected and is populated with the current user's name. This is done to prevent someone from uploading a file pretending to be someone else. The problem is caused because your Profile is incomplete. Take a look at your user profile, you should see that some fields are blank, I can't remember off the top of my head, but it's either the DisplayName or FullName field. If you populate your Profile, your name will appear in the name box when you attempt to upload an item.
