I moved rhe down load token to be in the first row of the table and removing the last row. I get an error that the id of the download control is not unique. Can I do what I tried , is it a caching problem on ther server? I would like to save screen space.

There should be no limitations on where you place the token. Double check your Markup to make sure it's valid. If you can't work it out, let me know and maybe I can take a look at your template code and see if I can see any problems.
