I'm on DNN 5.4.4, ASP.NET 2.0, Windows server 2008 R2 (64-bit) and Sql server 2005. When I upload a file (about 31 mb) to the portal, Firefox gives me a "The connection was reset" error. I have modified the web.config file to allow big files to be uploaded:

<httpRuntime
useFullyQualifiedRedirectUrl="true"
maxRequestLength="51200"
requestLengthDiskThreshold="51200"
executionTimeout="3600" />

but I've got the same error .... any help would be appreciated.

when you start the large upload, how long is it before you experience the error?  you have the timeout set to 1 hour.  Also, please be aware that the timeout value is ignored if you have debug='true' in your web.config.  The default is either 90 or 110 seconds, however the timer that actually kicks off and checks to see if the timeout value has been exceeded only kicks off every 15 seconds, so the actual timeout will can be up to 15 seconds longer than your setting.  If you are getting your error after approximately 90 seconds or so, then check to make sure you're not running in debug mode.
