i am new to the use of the Repository module.  I am in the process of establishing a new web site from an existing website and have a rather large number of "archived" items to transfer.  I am looking to use the repository module for both videos and documents.  Some of these videos are over 140MB in size and would take a very long time to upload in the "default" manner.

Is there any way to bulk load the repository.  My idea would be to use FTP to pre-load the candidates for the Repository to location within the scope of the new website.  Then to use some "feature" or other means to bulk load these items into the repository. Does this feature exist?  How can this be done?

Any ideas would be appreciated.

Regards
Hans

you can always 'bulk load' items into a repository module, it just reads records from a table (grmRepositoryObjects), so if you could generate a SQL script to insert records into that table, they'll show up in the module

Hi Steve

Why it is I get the following browser error when I upload large video file like 75MB. Can you please advise what I should do to avoid this error esp. we have 128 MB files.

  The webpage cannot be found
 HTTP 404
   Most likely causes:
•There might be a typing error in the address.
•If you clicked on a link, it may be out of date.

   What you can try:
     Retype the address.

Go back to the previous page.

Go to  and look for the information you want.
