Is it possible to use the repository module to store files on an external FTP server?  e.g. some of the good DNN hosts have storage limitations.  Being able to store the repository files on an external server would be awesome.  Then the DNN database only stores links to those files, and the login credential to get those files.   This could also work for cheaper linux hosting of files... or even S3 or other services.

I have written some code to allow you to store the repository files on FTP servers or Amazon S3, but it is not included in the latest beta release. I will be including it in a future release, probably some time in the next few months
