When trying to upload a file using the host user of the portal, the Your Name field is empty and locked. It does not fill it with the HOST User name and though it does not let you upload the file since the field is not editable.

Any idea how to fix this?

Most of my files would be uploaded using this account.

Thanks,

Juliana

Juliana I thought I was going mad.. the same thing happened to me last week but since I normally access the site as host I didn't pick this up - I have some email conversations going on with MikeH - on the team as well, and I'll ask him about this.

It really stumped me.  Thanks for posting this exact problem.. now I can log in via the admin account and see if that works!!

Just complete the host account profile with the appropriate fields and everything will work fine.

This has been mentioned before. With the membership changes to the DNN core the Repository gets a blank back when it tries to pull info for the Host account (and I believe any accounts created using Active Directory). The fix is to either log in with a non-Host account or do to like jhoelz mentioned. I'm pretty sure it'll be addressed in the next release.
