I need to be able to assign the owner of an item in the repository to a different account then the one that uploaded it. For instance someone sent me something via email to post. I created the item. Now that person would like to edit it so I need to assign it back to them so they can edit it and get me out of the middle?

A solution would be to make the Author field editable. Is this possible? I'm developing a site where publishers will upload audio files for other users. So I'd like to be able to override the Author field.

Cheers,
Simon.
