Defining a "download" column to attach a file to each row work fine on an insert. However, if you edit the row, the file upload control does not recognize that a file has previously been uploaded and attached. Before saving the row, you have to reselect the folder and file or the update leaves the row with no file.

Is there a fix or work around?

Also, is there anyway to set a default folder for a UDT instance.

Download issue: see UDT-6406 (fixed for next version).

default folder: Unfortunately, the DotNetNuke URLControl does not support a default folder (a new Links control supporting this feature is planned for DNN5).
