I give up. Been fighting form and list trying to change the left border red color for the required fields. Nothing I do in firebug works. I've done this and a few other variations.

 input.#dnn_ctr448_Default_Form_Name > .dnnFormRequired{border-left-width: 5px; border-left-style: solid; border-left-color: #7cba3d; !important;}

and

.dnnFormRequired{border-left-width: 5px; border-left-style: solid; border-left-color: #7cba3d; !important;}

If someone can help I would appreciate it. Have the site on localhost so am not able to provide a URL.

Hi Todd,

Try to place your css into a containers css that you use for the form elements.

What I use is the following:

.dnnForm input.dnnFormRequired {

border-left: solid 5px blue!important;

}

 I added this to Portal.css (Admin > Site Settings > Style Sheet)

 .dnnForm input.dnnFormRequired {
    border-left: 5px solid #7cba3d !important;
}

And it works.
You have a ; between the color and the !important and that does not work
