I tried to upgrade to 4,5,3 and got:

This is on a dnn 4..9.0 install
So what should I do now???

It appears you are having a problem with multiple constraints while the install is trying to drop them. I have no idea how you have multiple constraints with the same name on the same tables, this is not a typical issue (I am not even sure how it is possible). I would check your db for the following default constraints (tablename.columnname format):

  • Forum_Users.Emailformat
  • Forum_EmailQueue_TaskEmails.DateAdded

That said, it does look like they are there (the constraints) and you should be ok.

I just reinstalled and it seemed to work the next time.  I have it installed on a beta site that I am testing everything out with.  Hope that will not create any issues because i reinstalled.

I've just installed the v4.5.3 module over v4.4.3
I'm running DNN v5.1.1 on SQL2005/Server2003

I checked the tables and I have COLUMNS named Forum_Users.Emailformat and Forum_EmailQueue_TaskEmails.DateAdded

What I DON'T see are the constraints that it's trying to create -
Forum_Users.DF_Forum_Users_Emailformat
  and
Forum_EmailQueue_TaskEmails.DF_Forum_EmailQueue_TaskEmails_DateAdded

I DO SEE constraints named as follows (possibly these are transitory during the upgrade and should have been deleted?)
Forum_Users.DF__Forum_Use__Email__1C7DE5A2
  and
Forum_EmailQueue_TaskEmails.DF__Forum_Ema__DateA__5E4BA8FF

I get a very similar error - pertinent pieces are below:

SQL Execution resulted in following Exceptions: System.Data.SqlClient.SqlException: Subquery returned more than 1 value. This is not permitted when the subquery follows =, !=, <, <= , >, >= or when the subquery is used as an expression.

Is it a new install or a upgrade from 4.4.3 ?
