I have tried playing with the settings and cannot seem to get this resolved.

Has anyone had any luck with this yet?

Crispy - I have read the user docs, and am obviously overlooking something.  Can you please provide a little more information on what we're supposed to do other than add which security levels are authorized edit roles???  If not, then tell me where to find it in the user docs.  Thanks.

i just installed this new version last week, and i'm getting the same thing.  I've added the 'role restricted' checkbox, and added 'registered users' to the role.. but i still see no 'new thread' button when logged in as a registered user.

on another not..i'm getting all my users from AD.  i hope this isn't contributing to the problem
