What changes do I have to make to the Forums module to allow Registered Users to post new threads? As the host, I see New Thread, My Settings and My Posts. The only buttons that appear to registered users are Search and Forum Home. I figured that if they were a registered user this would work. I don't see any settings in the forums to enable this. Thoughts??

Go to the settings for each forum, expand the bottom set of configs, and you'll see where you have to select DNN roles to allow them to post.

However, I've added "registered users" to each forum, and when I log on as a non-privileged registered user, I am unable to post - no 'new thread' button appears. DNN 4.4.0. I thought it might be a cache issue but have cleared cache and restated the application to no avail.

Hello all,

Experiencing this same behavior - any docs or instructions on the correct permission setup for Registered user access to post?

Thanks

Pat
