Hello,

I am using the Forum module (version 03.20.08) on DNN 4.4.1.  One of the threads in my forum spans two pages, but from the first page there is no link to the second page.  If I go directly to the second page from the list of threads, the page shows the most recent posts and says the page is "Page 2 of 1".  Is this a known bug?  Other threads work correctly on my site.

A quick Google search shows a lot of DNN Forum pages that contain "Page 2 of 1."  What causes this error?

Thanks!

I didn't receive any replies, but I will update the issue:

The problem of "Page 2 of 1" was only seen when browsing the site while not logged in.  If logged in, everything worked.  After about 24 hours the problem also magically disappeared.

From a Google search, this seems to be fairly common.  Any ideas why this happens?

There was some improper logic in the paging, so when google crawls it is a non-authenticated user which uses a default value set in the module's configuration settings. When logged in, a user has their own settings that override this. (It could also be direct links from users posting a link they had when logged in)
