Hello

I'm using several portals with different contents and alias in the same installation of DNN 4.5.5 and Forums 03.20.09

One of my users can edit all messages of my forums. When i go to administer this user in the forums i obtain this error

Error: Preferencias Usuario no está disponible en este momento. (User settings not are available at this moment)

DotNetNuke.Services.Exceptions.ModuleLoadException: Object reference not set to an instance of an object. ---> System.NullReferenceException: Object reference not set to an instance of an object. at DotNetNuke.Modules.Forum.UserSettings.SelectMultiTreeItems(DnnTree objTree, Int32 ForumID) at DotNetNuke.Modules.Forum.UserSettings.Page_Load(Object sender, EventArgs e) --- End of inner exception stack trace ---

I can view in the list of users of the forum that the user that can edit all messages are marked how moderator, but i don't want this, this is a normal user

The problem is that i don't have included this user in moderators...and i can't change, i obtain the previous error when i try administer this user...

Well, im thinking that this user have other forums in other portal of the same installation. May be posible that the user are moderator of the other forum and the data are mixed?

I think this is fixed with the comming up version of the Forum Module, where I found some Moderation bugs.

Regards

Matthias

If the user was somehow given moderation rights you might be able to manually edit the database to remove the permissions, but I am not 100% sure what tables you would need to edit.

If you can't find the settings in the DB you could remove his ability to sign in and send him an email asking him to please reregister and sorry for the trouble.
