Hi,

I just upgraded my site to Forum 4.4.3.  It was quite a big upgrade for me - I was on 3.20.09 - all went smoothly.

I have noticed that my personal posting stats have gone.  Everyone else's seems to have remained untouched, I have been reset to zero.

Is this normal?  I cannot find anyone else complaining.  Is it likely to have affected more uses and I just have nto noticed yet? Is there a way to recover the data?

Thanks,

- Richard

Best wishes,

The previous versions of the forum (3.20.09 and below) were not properly handling multi-portal usage. During the 4.4.3 upgrade, it associated forum user profiles w/ PortalID's. Somehow, it sounds like your user profile was used in multiple portals and somewhere along the line it didn't populate properly for one of the PortalID's. If you have direct db access somehow (via Host -> SQL even) you can do a SELECT * FROM Forum_Users WHERE UserID = UserID). You could then do some SQL to correct things if you see multiple profiles.

Thanks VERY much. I can confiemt that my account was used in forums on more than one portal. I have 4 rows in that select

UserID Alias PostCount

11 RichardHowells 165

11 NULL 1

11 NULL 1

11 NULL 0

(4 row(s) affected)

So now I know where my post count is. It's not clear to me what I should do now. is it safe to just delete the three rows with the NULLs in?

Best wishes,
