Hi,

I upgraded from 3.20 to 4.4.3.  I've discovered a second problem.  *All* of the Forum Subscriptions have disappeared.

Is this by design?  I thiink this is more serious than losing a posting count.  I have a backup of my database before the change, can I somehow recover the data?

Cheers,

 - Richard

If I underastand you right, you have loste the permissions of the Forums.  This is by Design.  We have post here a thread that gives you some information for upgrade a existing Forum Module.  One is that you have check all of your Forum permissions.

Matthias

No - I don't think this is about permissions.  (Or I do not understand permissions.)

I think a Forum Subscription is when a user asks for the old forum to send him/her mail whjne new posts arrived.  ALL of those have gone so anyone who want email has to go back and request it again.

Thanks,

- Richard

I should have said.

I did find the thread Matthia refers to, about how to upgrade, and I followed it.  I have checked the Forum permissions and I'm happy with them.  I tried loggingin in as an 'ordinary' user (ordinary for my site) and that used could only do what I expected and intended in the Forum.

Cheers,

- Richard
