- Login to the portal as a basic registered user.
- In the Forum module, click on the Member List button at the top. A Member List displays.
- Click on a name in the Site Alias column. The User Profile page is displayed for that user. The Email field is blank unless you are logged in as Admin.
The problem is how to configure the Forum so that a user's email will display on the User Profile page.
- In the Forum module, click on the My Settings button at the top. The User Settings page is displayed.
- Check Display Email Address at the top of the page. Then click Update at the bottom.
- Repeat the steps above to display your own User Profile. The Email field will be blanked out.
How do you configure the Forum to allow email addresses to be visibile, even when the user has configured My Settings to Display Email Address?
