Hi Matthias

Thanks for that.

Almost thought I had it then as I had not touched anything in the web.config.  I have changed it now from

<globalization culture="en-US" uiCulture="en" requestEncoding="UTF-8" responseEncoding="UTF-8" fileEncoding="UTF-8" />

to

<globalization culture="en-GB" uiCulture="en-GB" requestEncoding="UTF-8" responseEncoding="UTF-8" fileEncoding="UTF-8" />

Unfortunately still seems to be no difference. It seems no matter what settings I change it shows as -8hrs to my current time (in Poland). I can only think it must be an error laying in our install/upgrade.

The changes can not have effect to existing posts, about, it is allready saved to the database.  I think not of an issue in the Module, else it is a fail using bei the user.

Hi Matthias

I do realise existing posts were unlikely to change but the test I do was with new posts.

No luck at all, so I am unsure how times can possibly be stuck at a particular clock regardless of any settings.

Though... it possibly brought to light a separate problem with no forum notifications - twice when deleting test posts I received a blank email! Another problem for another thread... though I think in an odd way it is related ie. an install problem with the module or DNN core.

Thanks

David

What is the time zone setting in your profile?

It is set to either GMT+0 or GMT+1... they are the only profile time zones we use ourselves.

Portal is set to GMT+0, Desktop Computer clocks at GMT+1.  Default locale is en-GB.

As we also have notification problems (Forums only, no other modules)... I just reinstalled the Forum Module without problems but no luck.  Could it possibly be something in the core DNN install that didn't go right?

We did have some error messages during some updates but has always seemed to work properly (apart from this time & notifications, which has been on & off at times).  Are there some correct core files/directories that could simply be copied into the folders that might have been affected during an upgrade?  I don't modify any core files.

Thanks
