My site for a local non-profit went live yesterday and I really need to resolve quickly. 

I receive notifications for new user registrations (site) and forum post deleted messages but not for new postings. Also, users are no longer receiving notifications of additional new posts to their threads.  This was working ok last week.

I am not sure how to go about debugging or fixing this.  Any suggestions are greatly appreciated.

Check the physical folder permissions for your portal.  I am sure it's not a DNN or Forum issue.   Also check your e-mail (smtp) server, and last but not least check if you are added to a spam list in a service like spamhaus.org ore else.

Matthias:

Thanks for the response.  The curious thing is that about 50 people registered today and we received all of those notifications.  Also, two posts were deleted and both of those notifications were received.  But thre were about 15 new postings in the forums and we only received one message.  I am at a loss at how to proceed.  Should I go to the source code, add tracing, and rebuild/reinstall?  Any other suggestions.

Mike,

are the new posts in a forum, where you have subscript for Notification or you have your role added to the Forum Notification (Check in Forum Manger)?  I am sure any of your settings are not well.  I using the same Forum 4.4.3 versions, and it works well since I upgraded from version 3.x.   I get all the notification where I added my role to Notification permissions in a Forum Type "Notification" .

You must know, the Notification by role only works and can be setting if you have set the Forum Type as "Notification Forum".  Or you have subscript in my-settings to the forums.

hi mike

i have install the  Forum 4.4.3 version as you and  have set the Forum Type as "Notification Forum" and make it as public moderated forum but i can't get any notification messages for new posts or for the reply to old posts

i don't what i must do to let the notification messages sent could anyone help me please i ned it urgently i can't publish my site with this problem?
