Thanks for trying to assist.

 

Well my forums are not moderated.

Users get emails if they choose the option to receive notifications if there is a new thread but don’t get notifications for replies even if they choose notify on reply option.

 

And also even from admin accounts when I try to delete a thread or a any reply it gives the error -> The parameter 'to' cannot be an empty string. Parameter name: to

 

And it seems like I’m not the only one who is having exactly these 2 problems.

 

Any help would be really appreciated.

I have used this module in both latest dnn core versions. The only, and I mean only, reasons this would happen w/ this error is an empty to address. This means one of the email addresses in your portal is empty.

Hello,

I have the same problems: no email notification from the forum module . I checked out something: If I go to the menu "Forum-Manage Users" there is no entry. That might be the reason of the probs. What's going wrong there?

hey guys,

I also have this problem and it just stopped working one day. It has been working fine previously. I am not using smtp authentication and ever other portal/forum email notification works..its just the forum post notifications that is not happening?
