Hi there,

I am using dotnetnuke forum module and i do have multi portal evnironment. When i create a new child portal the forum module is displayed in the child portal but the settings that i have done in the parent portal is not affected in the new child portal.(eg: Config change - edit General forum, set "Load permissions of Forum" to "Private no Moderation") This setting is applied to the parent portal but it is not getting reflected in the child portal. If anybody come with this issue Please help me.

Is it a 4.4.3 Upgraded forum from 3.x ?  If yes I think I have to check the database structure of each spoc, list, and views.

Ashok, the answer to your question is that it is not supposed to show you other forums from other portals. Forums (and almost every other single module) should have its data isolated to a single portal and not shared across multiple portals.

Hi Crispy,

Sorry for the delayed response and thanks for the reply.

So there is no possible way to retain all the settings of the parent portal.Isnt it? rite. I do have a query. So if we are creating a new portal then for the forum module the default settings are updated basically?

Thank you,

Ashok A.
