When I reply or create a thread I receive the error “Error: Add/Edit Post is currently unavailable. “ I have searched the forum and read many threads with similar issues. I tried all of the fixes, the Forum_TrackedThreads table is empty, and upgraded my portal to the most recent version, but the problem still occurs. I would really appreciate any help. I feel like I am beating my head against a brick wall.

It looks to me you had a timeout issue on posting before a while for that users.  Basicly I sugest for the hostusers add them manually as a user to the Module settings as a user and give them the access.

Pleas post your Forum version you have installed, and tell us what you have done before the issue occours.

The forum version is 04.05.03. The admin user can post without problems, but the paulh user cannot, though it has the same rights. I do not know what place before this problem started. I was notified that some users had issues posting and I wish I had more information on a possible cause.

I added the paulh user to module settings and the error still occurs. What could be differnt about that account and cause this error?

Have you added any other modules on the same page ? i.e. wather module or else others?  Then delete it from the forum page and retry.  At time I have no other idea, could be I have to take a look on your page.

Nope, there are no other modules on the forum page. I can give you access to the forum page if your willing to take a look. When you have a chance email me at andyp (at) kdatasystems.net. Thanks, Andy
