Ok, sorry for not posting everything in one post, but this will be the last until I hear back.  After upgrading a new forum 3 to forum 4, then changing the theme to "default" and default image extension to png from gif, it is almost identical to a new forum 4 version.  The difference is cosmetic, as the links do the same thing, but it is the menu buttons at the top of the module:

In the upgraded forum, it has those links as text, in a new module of the forum, it has the links as those nice glossy icons.  How can I change the upgraded forum to use the icons instead of text for the links I posted above?

To add the Token for the Toolbar Icons and the images to the old Template.  More about forum templating zou can find on www.3skin.com.  To enable it in the Default Theme go to the General Settings and enable the Toolbar.
