I have installed core forum module in my poral but having difficulty configuring it. is there any way that i could know how the forum works? Thanks.

We have no written docs thus far.  It is something I am trying to make happen but not just yet.  (It's a time factor).

For now, I recommend using the inline help icons and the module help.  I explained much of the functionality in those.  The biggest thing not explained to remember is that for users to post they must be in the edit role assigned to the module.

Hi,

to test the forums (and almost every other modules) you should register an account with normal roles, not administrative roles and test its functionality.

This guy ask how to know the forums work. Since he had already installed it, he must have used an administrative account(a normal user cannot install it right?) so what he's doing with the forum (as an administrative account) is supposely not what he want to ask.So I guess he want to ask how the other users will be doing with his forum. Am I wrong?
