I am on testing the module, but could not go on about all Forum Group and Forum setting tabs in the Dashboard are redirect to the Dashboard start page.  This prevent me to go on testing.  The issue on Beta 2 have to be solved and the install package have to be updated before I could go on with testing.

I am using the test standard we had on the Release Tracker before.  So I am making a complete testing.  But I could not done a upgrade testing about I didn't have a older version availible.  Also I could not tetsing Conversion from DNN to AF without the conversion script (think is still on developement).

DNN Team members could contact me by Live Messenger or ask Will or Chris for contact details.

I'm testing it now and it seems to work good for me (at least the portions I've tested).

I really like the new moderation features.

One thing has me stumped though: What happened to the ability to manage your settings?

I understand that the profile stuff has been moved to the core profile (a good thing), but there were several forum specific settings like whether or not you auto subscribe to topics, etc.

I'll post this question on CodePlex

I currently use the standard DNN forums.....

This past weekend I did setup a new installation of DNN 6.2.2 and installed ActiveForums beta 5.0

I had errors with posting new threads.... posted it in the Issue Tracker.

I am confused as to what is the recommended forum module to ensure whenever DNN does release whatever forum module they release, you will have an upgrade path. Is it going to be both Active Forums 4 or the forums module on CodePlex?

Right now you should use DNN Forums 4 from Codeplex.com, if you start new.

Not the new AF 5 beta (betas usually can't be easily updated to Release versions).

Also holders of the AF 4 will be able to upgrade also.

Some script will be available at the (near ?) future.
