I see very-very few people following the project at Codeplex (27 people) and 2-3 only participating in Discusions and Issues.

This is BAD. If you use any Forums (AF or DNN forums) come to Codeplex.com

Unfortunately, I think most users of Active Forums has lost confidence in AF/ActiveSocial, because of the way this whole "migration" thing is being handled and the complete lack of development the last year or so.

I'm not going to spend time testing the AF5 beta, as long as we see so much uncertainty of the way forward. Also, I have no idea of when to expect the AF to be released (this year? next year? never?) or how serious DNN/Will M. is about it. So far it's been 3 months just to get the migration scripts for AS -> DNN6.2.

It's really sad, that it has come so far (the Codeplex project is almost dead). I hope that some light will soon show at the end of the tunnel.

I just hope AF 5 will not become like the Blog module .......
