Hi All,

I am trying to configure the forum module but i am having problems as far as access rights goes.

What i am trying to do here is define a gruop of users who have rights to reply to threads but not delete or moderate.

I m struggling completly to do this.

Any help will be appreciated.

IDEAS fellows.. (As i need this resolved quite quickly in DNN 4.3.4)

Many Thanks
Raikkonen

This is how the forum module works "out of the box"  Something is probably not configured properly.

In the Settings for the Forum module, give your role the permission to edit the module.  That's all it should take.  Make sure that you did not give edit permissions to that role at the page level as that was my problem when I was battling the issue you are descrbing.
