Manzoni,

did you ever get this one resolved?  I am getting the same error.

I don't remember getting this one until after I updated to 4.3.6

One of my users also discovered that the page two link at the bottom of a thread is intermittently missing if you are not logged in.
The link to page two still works from the forum article index, but if you're on page one, it says "1 of 1" and there's no link to page 2

Any ideas?

Thanks

Ken

Hi ken,

I can't figure how google take those links and finally I resolved the problem by using the robot.txt and the "disallow" keyword, (something like this: Disallow:*/scope/threads/www.fantasylario.it/Forum/tabid/131/forumid/7/scope/threads/Default.aspx).
Now, (after some weeks) seems that google has understand.

For the second problem that you have reported I don't have a solution, but I'm enough sure that is not related with the first one.

Let me know if you will find a more efficient solution.

Manzoni

Thanks Manzoni,

I will give that a try. I don't know if it causes a problem or not but it is sure annoying when trying to view the log.

As for the other problem, as long as the users log in all is fine.  It is just a minor inconvenience for some one who wants to check the forums without logging in.  I am not to worried about it right now.

Thanks again

Ken

I found this blog post that clarify it is a problem generated by googlebot: http://www.dotnetnuke.com/Community/BlogsDotNetNuke/tabid/825/EntryID/1021/Default.aspx
