hi my frnds,
please think about this case:
i started my website development as a usual single language website.

i added pages thereby created menu, submenu etc. customized it. then added content in all the pages through text/html module. now english site is finished.

after this, i decided to make an arabic site along with this also.

For Arabic site, i created a child portal. i didnt add any language pack for arabic. i didnt add any Locale. No ML module installed. Nothing special i did.

Then added pages. there i gave arabic names in the page name field ( by doing this, arabic names come in the menu). then customized the menu. now i can see the menu, sub menu etc in arabic.

then i began to add content to the pages through text/html module. i can type arabic content through keybord. In my PC, Arabic is installed.
i copied Arabic content from some arabic sites, pasted in the editor of text/html module. finally i finished all the pages.

i gave link in the english home page to redirect to arabic site. there i added link to english site. everything is working properly in my system.

now the real problem arises. when visiting the arabic site pages by clicking the arabic menu, i can see arabic page name in the url. for example, http://localhost/websitename/arabic page name/tabid/15/Default.aspx

why i can see the arbic name in the url.is it due to my browser is able to recognize arabic?

what to do? will it create problem? how can i make the url into english? i want to deploy it. can it be viewed through the net everyehere without any problem? plz guide me what to do next? am very much depressed. first time am doing BL site.. plz help me.. thanks in advance..

in user friendly (or SearchEngine friendly) urls, DNN adds the menu path to the page url. We noticed, that there might be an issue with search engines, if non-ASCII characters are used, and will try to solve this for next version or version after. you can disable nemu paths in url by edititng your web.config file: look for
   add name="DNNFriendlyURL",
in this line set
   includePageName ="false"
