Hi There,

I am in the middle of migrating from our existing, heavily customised, CMS to DNN. We have our website in many languages. In our old CMS we used to export the English content to CSV files, send it to a third party company for translation. They then created CSV files for each language and uploaded it to the website via the old CMS.

What I would like to do is use the localised CSV file, say for Spansh, and upload the content using DNN. Could someone please give me any info on how I can achieve this?

Thanks,

Rajesh

this is one of my requirements for a future Content Localization support in DNN 5, but currently you will need to use appropriate 3rd party modules supporting multiple languages - unfortunately none of the ones I know support import of translations.

Hi Sebastian,

Thanks for your update. But to be able to upload the content would I have to first create a portal for each of the respective languages or ...?

I am quite new to DNN so would appreciate any ideas for this.

Thanks,

Rajesh

you might either create separate portals per language (and a central landing page) or create a single ML portal using multilingual modules, depending on your needs.
