Default role names ("Administrators", "Registered Users" and "Subscribers") are defined inside the portal template and can be replaced by a localized name (there is currently no support for multi lingual translation). But be aware, that a couple of modules might rely on role names, i.e. I would be careful with renaming"Administrators" and "Registered Users".

Hi Sebastian

You know it is now safe to translate the role names (DNN 6.1.4)? Even DNN Modules (forum, feedback, html, etc) dont use RoleType to allow/deny access?

Hugs

Hi Marciel, unfortunately there is not much progress in this area within the core framework. I haven't checked the modules specifically - Events, Feedback, FAQ, Blog, Documents, Form and List and a few other had upgrades during the past years and might be improved. You'll need to check it out yourself.

Cheers from Germany,
