Does an error occur as well, if you ener "07.09.2009" for te date?

There might be an issue with the events module, date validation happens locally. Please re-post your questions into the Events project forum below.

I can't say if the problem is in the missing first sing of the month (dd.mm.yyyy). I don't enter anything just browse around the module and the date above is taken from the TextBox on the Events module in Month view or from any other place if i browse another view. I'll post it in the Events module forum.

What you mean that the day validation happens locally. What do you mean by "happens"?

I haven't noticed any issues in behaviour with German language pack (dd.mm.yyyy), therefore I am not sure, what is causing the issue for you.

"locally" means, that validation isn't a DNN core function, but needs to be handled by modules individually.

Hi Sebastian,

It's quite sure that the problem is in the missing "m" sign like you mentioned. I've installed the German language pack and tested the Events module and I had no any problems. The date format in the German and Bulgarian language packs are the same except for this missing "m" in the BG language pack.
I posted the error In the Events module and as advised updated to the latest 5.00.02 RC1 but the problem still remains. Can you advise me what can I do, which file to go and change something to eliminate the problem for the moment, until it's totally fixed in the Events module?

Here's some more error details the new version throws:

DotNetNuke.Services.Exceptions.ModuleLoadException: Conversion from string "01.9.2009 г." to type 'Date' is not valid. ---> System.InvalidCastException: Conversion from string "01.9.2009 г." to type 'Date' is not valid. at Microsoft.VisualBasic.CompilerServices.Conversions.ToDate(String Value) at DotNetNuke.Modules.Events.EventBase.get_SelectedDate() at DotNetNuke.Modules.Events.EventWeek.Page_Load(Object sender, EventArgs e) --- End of inner exception stack trace ---

DMitar

p.s. i posted all this to Events module

I assume, the special character at the end of the string causes the issue, but I have no idea, where it comes from.
